Oh! I reiterate climate change and not global warming. Climate change is estimated to reduce productivity by 20% a conservative figure that does not include disaster cost. Plus, baby boomers are holding back retirement because of the economy so that means less jobs for younger Americans.

i cover both the economy and climate change on my blog; i would dispute your 20% reduction of productivity; otherwise, you’re certainly right about the boomers age group not being set to retire anymore because of the reduction of their real estate and equity wealth
but we cant survive in an economy where we all end up emptying each others bedpans…we have to make something to trade with the rest of the world for the good we need…we have fooled the rest of the world into taking our worthless paper dollars in trade for real goods for decades…they now see thru our game and and wont be so fooled in the future…
Not sure what your question is, but yes, Obama does seem to be using these issues to make sure the economy will never recover.
And why are you so concerned about Baby Boomers keeping their jobs, while the governent is still issuing H1b visas to bring in totally inexperienced workers from India to take even more jobs?
At least the Boomers have some experience at their jobs.
