This is the fourth major storm,,,,,,,,, I mean global warming event to hit this winter. Why is that?

They’re having global cooling in Rio that is causing record heat.
This is a perfect example of how common sense when based on ignorance inevitably leads to incorrect conclusions.
It must be convenient for your denial that you live in the eastern USA instead of say Australia or Vancouver.
You don’t understand the science so I’ll try and explain. Global warming is a gradual process that is spread over decades. It is a upward trend of AVERAGE temperatures over the YEAR. This causes weather patterns to be more EXTREME. To prove global warming you don’t need to see mid 70′s year round in Canada, that is impossible.
And it’s winter, that’s when snow happens. I assume this subject will be forgotten when summer hits and more temperature records are broken year after year.

Weather events are not the same thing as climate.
That said, your point is excellent because the additional warming causes more evaporation from the ocean such that coastal areas often receive additional precipitation. So it is no surprise that a warming trend would lead to more snow. Of course, GW proponents have always said that GW can lead to MORE WEATHER EXTREMES.

it is warmer than normal in other parts of the globe so I have no idea on what theclimate is doing only that climate is not stable.
The USA represents only 2% of the Earth’s surface. Looking at the planet as a whole, the average temperature is in fact rising.
Clearly in a warming world, rain now falls as snow.
It’s a complicated science thingy (plus or minus the square root of stupid) and it’s something you can’t understand because you’re not a snobbish "master of science."
I don’t know why they expect us to believe it’s warming while we’re surrounded by evidence of cooling, but it is fun to watch them go nuts, isn’t it?

What are you talking about? I live on the east coast of the United States and there is tons of snow (Global Cooling if you will) and we are supposed to get more tonight or tomorrow night. Like 12 inches-20 inches.
