Just to clarify, that is the view held by some conservatives. It is not the official position of the GOP, and it is not the view held by this particular Republican. I trust the consensus view of the scientific community.
No, we aren’t cooling.

Sometimes cons will zoom in on the last 4 years (deliberately skewing the science) and show how we’ve experienced a very minor cooling trend. Ironically, every one of these years is on the top ten hottest years on record list.
It’s disingenuous to extrapolate short term noise. And only someone who either doesn’t understand climate science statistics or looks to deliberately skew the science for political gain would do so.
Ask yourself if either position supports your political agenda, then support whichever you feel is best.
Ask yourself how much money people have made off of the global warming hysteria. There is contradiction among the scientific community. When in Doubt – Follow the money.

One cool summer does not mean we are going through "global cooling", just as a warm winter does not mean we are going through "global warming".

No we are not going thru a cooling trend. Even if we were from your statement it is the hottest the earth has been in many years. Global warming is real dude, I know you dont care or dont believe it, but I have children and grandchildren on the way and I would like them to have a life.

welllll… earth has been going through warming and cooling cycles ever since life was first created. It is true that we are warming and maybe in the next 1000 years we will start to cool again. thats just the way it goes!! in my opinion, we should be more concerned about another ice age. its about time that we have another one and they always happend right after a global warming cycle. just something to think about
The "Global Warming" hysteria was mainly a ploy to fill the wallets of a company financed by Albert Gore, Joe Biden, The Clinton Crime family and a host of their friends. They sell carbon credits (?) to offset excessive use of energy by individuals. Better than 60% of the meteorological community have debunked the Global Warming insanity. Our planet goes through periods of accelerated warming and cooling on a cyclical basis. The secondary purpose of this "The sky is falling" rhetoric was to create an issue for Mr. Gore’s presidential aspirations.
