You are wrong young lady. The only link is that, as a general rule, the same people who are upset about global warming are the same people that are concerned about animal cruelty.
Well, you see, animal cruelty can happen in slaughterhouses, which kill animals for meat. Considering that before those poor innocent animals are slaughtered, they are bred, and bred, and bred. In order to keep them alive, they need water. And lots of it. Animal cruelty is also causing droughts. And lets not forget shipping all that dead animal meat all around the country with the trucks that get 2 miles per gallon!

Sorry Kimbo, I don’t agree that animal cruelty can contribute to global warming, and I surely don’t agree with some of the vegans that posted answers to your question.
If you don’t want to eat meat, that’s fine. You’re probably also right that alot of animals that are raised are treated cruelly. But in doing so doesn’t cause global warming. The same trucks that spew out all that CO2 delivering meat to stores would just be used to deliver more vegetables if no one ate meat in this country. The same with using up a lot of water recources, it’s just not true.

well the factories that process meat use a lot of energy year round to feed the cows kill them gut them and transport them to your stores and restaurants. by the same token, leather products and other animal products utilize a lot of petroleum because they are moved in gigantic trailers year round across the seas and within the country. all these things contribute. finally, in the wild, humans cut down trees which help break down co2 and which are also habitats for animals to make houses and clear the way for cattle grazing. i.e the amazon in brazil
It does’nt directly relate to it but if animals are a part of the environment and people have such an obvious disregard for animals then possibly they have a high disregard to the environment also?! Does that help?

Animal cruelty is a sad fact of this world but it is not at all related in any way to Climatic changes ,
but Climatic changes do affect animals,such as invisible changes are at micro biotic levels ,
this causes species to become extinct ,whilst others are multiplying ,
This affects the insect populations that follow ,and changes in that ,affect all that follows in the food chains ,
All life is interrelated of both flora and fauna,
you need to check your facts Miss.
Your thesis is flawed, if we fix that, the answer becomes self evident. There is no such thing as man-made Global Warming, therefore there is no number one cause. You are being duped by lawyers and politicians who want your rights and money.
It’s not the #1 reason, but Im pretty sure it has something to do with cutting down trees to put out cows to pasture, cows destroy the land they walk on and the soil is pretty much useless after they leave their mark…animal cruelty is it’s own stressful headache but isnt a cause for concern when it comes to the enviornment, unless your talking about..the kind of people who skin animals alive also not caring about what happens to the world then yeah it does.

When Cows fart they produce methane gas if there are too many cows then imagine the amount of methane gas produced so eat a cow and save the world

Actually we need to kill and eat as fast as possible every animal on Earth—– since they contribute MORE than cars to global warming "gas" ——- or so says the UN in this report where they recommended a 50% reduction in cattle "emissions" !!!
