What is Global Climate Change? What is Global Warming? What is the difference?

I believe Climate Change is a natural occurrence: Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring.
I believe Global Warming is the entire world heating up, although I do not believe in it.

I would like to know your definition of the two. This extra question is not necessary to answer: according to your definition, do you believe either of them is occurring?

How does it make sense to say that instead of global warming were going through global cooling?

Although the Council has been suspended since November 1994, they do still meet on occasion, whenever Michael Duclos (the President of the council) calls for it. But what exactly is their part in the war against global warming?

If you consider the fact that much of North America was once covered by glaciers, which melted and receded long before humans became a factor, which means the earths climate has changed on it’s own before in history, many times, doesn’t that put a damper on the people saying that global warming..oops excuse me now its climate change, is man made?

We have massive problem with global warming as a result of CO2 emission, yes? And we also have a big problem with fish stocks internationally, yes? Well if we were to cultivate and then release massive amounts of plant plankton into the Earth’s oceans, would this be a feasible way to both help stop global warming as they would take in vast amounts of CO2, and also help fish stocks as small fish would eat them, then larger fish such as tuna, which is in trouble, would eat the smaller fish which ate the plankton? If it’s not feasible, why not?

I know the Greenhouse Gas works in my double insulated windows. It keeps the cool in the summer and the heat in the winter.

So my question is. Why did we change from Greenhouse gas effect to Global warming to Climate change?
I repeat the question is why change? The question is not real or not!
A small percentage of Argon is in the air. Is it a coincidence there is a small amount of it in windows?

Why does global warming keep hitting the eastern United States?

This is the fourth major storm,,,,,,,,, I mean global warming event to hit this winter. Why is that?
I’ll have to scrape and shovel global warming again. I sure wish global cooling would show up.

Does being concerned about global warming but still living in an urban area make you a hypocrite?

If you believe that manmade pollution is causing global warming, then it only make logical sense that the single greatest source of man’s carbon footpring comes from the heavilly populated urban areas. That’s where pollution occurs at such high levels that the environment never gets a chance to recover.

After a hot day, temps drop in the suburbs and rural areas, but stay high in the cities. Concrete, blacktop, glass, metal, it all retains the heat. Smog is so thick it almost never disperses, and sewage output is huge. No wonder ocean water around cities is always brown and yellow.

Crude oil trickles from the ocean floor but nature can handle it and within hours, it’s gone. A tanker bursts in Alaska and it takes years to clean up. It’s just a volume thing.

The air is cleaner where there are less people together. So it stands to reason that if you care about the planet, you won’t live in an urban city area. Otherwise, you are part of the problem. Sorry. It’s true.
Mr. Jello, if you were right, cities would be the ultimate clean green spaces. But they aren’t! Mass transit diesel fumes, airports belching jet exhaust, huge A/C units atop buildings delivering hot air, etc. When I was in NYC for a few years, I took the subway. The amount of filth that would accumulate on your SKIN from just a few moments outside or in the hot subway air was horrible.

And did you ever see NYC or LA or Miami from a cruise ship? I have. OMG, they actually have brown DOMES of filth around them! It was disgusting.

Compare that to the environment near Mt. Mitchell, North Carolina, or the TN Smokey Mountains, or the rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The cities are causing pollution. If they didn’t exist, the suburb traffic wouldn’t be heading in to them. Everyone could work locally.
