Does record heat in December for the state of Oregon prove climate change?

Of course weather and climate are not the same. Yet many deniers would point to winter happening on the east coast and record snowfall as proof that climate change is not happening. What of record heat in Oregon? By the logic these deniers use, one could only conclude either that global warming is happening or that weather does not equate to climate. Do they pick and chose their weather patterns to base their denial off of? What of the southern hemisphere this summer? Where is the logical consistency for these deniers? Do they simply ignore facts like record heat in December for some areas of the country?

No we just like to make fun of it simply because huge snow storms always fall on global warming events or announcements of climate change issues. You need to lighten up francis.

Plus I don’t believe that man has that kind of power to change the weather patterns of a planet. Can we change the flow of a river? Sure. But eventually mother nature will win in the end and the river will go back to its normal path.

I believe we need to be good stewards of our plant and not pollute and I do not believe in a false pretense like man made global warming.

    In my view, no.

No it proves that the weather is "record breaking" every year depending on where you look.

Man made climate change is a proven fraud. The evidence has been made very clear.

The only people who are "deniers" are the lost people still clinging to that scam. Theyre like the people who fall for Nigerian UK lottery email scams.

Its a scam. Its been proven a scam.

I’m about 300 miles south of the Oregon border. Why aren’t weren’t we having record heat in december?

For some reason, I don’t believe you.

    Nonetheless, AGW isn’t happening, punk!

It’s been warming up since the last ice age.

No. It only proves that weather is unpredictable. Record breaking warm or cold temperatures have been occurring since weather has been recorded. It doesn’t prove anything one way or the other.
