Global climate change having significant impacts at a local level?

Does global warming not exist because it's politically inconvenient for the right wing?

I am trying to find some stats on the percentage of scientist who believe that human activities contribute to global warming. And what the percentage is that think it is just a natural phenomena.

What are the unproven assumptions of the global warming theory?
Theories are usually assumption based. Once all the assumptions have been proven to be valid the thoery ceases to be a theory and becomes fact. Global warming remains a theory so i wish to know how many unproven assumptions remain and what they are.
